Obituary of Mary Stella Grazzini

Grazzini, Mary Stella (Errigo) She was our beautiful Mom, Non, and Great-Nona who always said that when God was finished with her house in heaven, He would call her home. So it was on December 4, 2015 in the early hours He called her home; and she received her very own angel wings. DAD and GEORGE - have you seen Mom yet? Look for the noisiest gathering, she'll be there with all her brothers causing trouble. Mom was preceded in death by her Husband George in 2000, and son George Jr. in 2014. Left behind to miss her is daughter Rose (Dennis) Reeve, granddaughter Decia (Chuck) Woods, and great-grandsons Tyler and Hunter. The sun shone more brightly on the morning of August 7, 1916, in Philadelphia, PA where Mom was born to John and Emilia. Brothers Joe, Mike, Gene, Frank, Tony, and Dom also preceded her in death, as well as all of her sisters-in-law. Mom took great pride in saying she, and her cousin Joe Cusato, outlived all of their generation because it was "all in the 'jeans - her Calvins'"!! Dad and Mom married in 1942 and remained in Tacoma to raise their family. Mom loved to bake: fresh goodies were always on her table, especially biscotti. She also liked to crochet, do puzzles, play bingo and cards, and was very active in the St Ann's senior club until Dad passed away in 2000. Granddaughter Decia brought great joy to Mom and Dad. When great-grandsons Tyler and Hunter were born, Mom said life couldn't be any better. Decia took Mom on her first ATV ride in the Oregon dunes in 2000; Mom had a blast. When Tyler started riding ATVs at 3, she worried, but cheered him on, especially worrying when he began his racing career at age 6. She took great pride in showing his racing pictures and telling everyone about the many races he was in, and trophies he won. When Hunter started riding, and then racing, boy, she worried in double time, but always said God would take care of them both. To all of you who called or stopped by to see Mom these past few years, you will never know how much joy you brought her. She so enjoyed all the trips she took with her Sister's In Law and Nieces (Pat, Debbie and Mary). A Rosary will be recited at 9:30am and following, Mom will be honored in a funeral mass on December 10th at 10am at St Ann Catholic Church, 70th & Park Ave, in Tacoma. As Mom wished, a party in her honor will immediately follow mass in the St Ann hall. Internment will be at Calvary Cemetery in the family cloister. The family also wishes to thank Reza at St Nino's AFH for the many hours of love, care and nurturing she received. Mom was so very happy when you went on your many adventures.
