A Life Review of Merrylnn Nicholas She was born on 20 March 1943 in Leavenworth, Kansas. Her parents were Violet and Thomas Reed who were married in Little Rock, AR. She was the first of four siblings… Gloria (2nd), Tommy (3rd), and Tracey (4th). They were part of a military family that moved around a lot and settled in Washington in 1954. Merrylnn graduated in 1961 from Clover Park High School. She began her career at Weyerhauser, and then moved on to the Tacoma Public School District where she remained until she retired in 2013. Merrylnn was married to her wonderful husband Donald Nicholas for 52 years. They had 3 children Tom, Jeff, and Jenny. She had several close friends Ki, Karl, Carmella & Ralph, and Dolly, Jen & Lucy as well as various quilting & sewing friends.
